Nigerian global superstar Burna Boy has made music history, becoming the first African artist to sell out the iconic Stade de France. With a breathtaking crowd of 80,000 fans, this monumental concert marks a new era for African music on the global stage.

The event brought an electrifying energy to Paris as Burna Boy took over France’s national stadium for the very first time. After previously lighting up Paris La Défense Arena, the artist elevated his legacy with a record-breaking show that fused Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, and pop in a truly unforgettable night.

Opening performances by Nigerian singer Nissi and crowd-favorite Fireboy DML set the tone for an epic night. Burna Boy then took center stage, performing an explosive setlist filled with his biggest hits including "Like to Party", "Pree Me", "On the Low", "For My Hand", "I Told Them" featuring GZA, and "Alone".

The concert reached another level with surprise guest appearances from major names like French artists Dadju and Joé Dwèt Filé, British rapper Dave, and Nigerian rapper Shallipopi. One of the most powerful moments of the night was Burna Boy and Dave performing their hit "Location" live, igniting an eruption of excitement throughout the stadium.

Speaking directly to his Paris fans, Burna Boy declared:
“Merci beaucoup, Paris! This is bigger than me — it’s for Africa, it’s for every dreamer.”

Social media platforms lit up instantly, with fans and artists around the world celebrating this milestone. Nigerian producer Don Jazzy captured the moment best:

“What Burna Boy is doing for African music is beyond legendary. Stade de France? Sold out? History has been made!”

The sold-out Stade de France concert joins a growing list of global milestones for Burna Boy, who has previously packed out venues like Madison Square Garden, London Stadium, and Paris La Défense Arena. This performance doesn’t just celebrate Burna Boy’s talent — it showcases the global impact of Afrobeats and the growing voice of African music in the international arena.

This is more than a concert. It’s a movement.
And Africa is at the heart of it.
